Amazing views, cozy detached house, free WiFi, free parking, and a guest lounge. Plus, breakfast and a bar! It's like a mini resort without the pool.
Oh, the inconvenience of seeing wildlife from my window and struggling with great weather and cows. Such hardships!

Excellent hosts, offering a ride to the bus station. Comfy bed, wonderful views. Spacious, trendy decoration. Fresh flowers, very welcoming. Knowledgeable about local attractions. Polite, friendly, and helpful. Older style, but feels brand new. Electric blankets, great shower. Well-equipped kitchen, feels like home. Friendly owners, available if needed.

Our stay at Lindisfarne Self Catering was well worth the money. The newly renovated kitchen and bathroom were incredible, and the views over Stromness and Hoy were breathtaking. The accommodation felt like a real home from home, and we even spotted wildlife from our window. Deborah, the host, was lovely and very helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, close to the attractions we wanted to see and just a short drive or walk from Stromness Harbour port.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a wider variety on the menu. While the hotel provided all the facilities we needed in the kitchen, an expanded breakfast selection would have been a nice addition.

We got great value for our money with newly renovated facilities and breathtaking views over Stromness and Hoy. The location was perfect, just a short drive or walk away from the town and ferry. The hosts, Kevin and Deborah, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. It was the perfect getaway for us and our dogs, with a private dog walking path right by the property.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a bit more variety.

Likes and Best Aspects: The owners of this accommodation were the friendliest hosts ever! They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property itself was modern and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a self-catered stay. The view of the harbor from the lounge was absolutely stunning, and sitting there in the evening was the perfect way to relax. Plus, the location was excellent, just a short drive or walk from the town of Stromness, so we could easily explore the area.
Dislikes and Worst Aspects: Unfortunately, there were a couple of downsides to our stay.

My recent stay at Lindisfarne in Stromness was absolutely amazing. The location was breathtaking, offering stunning views of the village and close proximity to attractions. The self-catering flat was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were lovely and even provided fresh flowers, tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. We enjoyed watching movies from their DVD collection and appreciated the plentiful heaters. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the island.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
